| What is Free Web Site Hosting? |

| Do you place ads on member's websites? |
No! You and your surfers will be able to have an enjoyable experience visiting your website. We do not place banner ads or pop-up ads on your website.
| How long does it take for my acct. to be created? |
Your account will be created instantly by our system as soon as you signup. We will email a unique link code to the email address that you used during the signup process to validate your information. Once you click on the validation email link, you'll be able to login to your account and begin uploading.
| What will my website address look like? |
Your website address will be: http://username.XPHost.org
| How do I upload files to XPHost.org? |
Files can be uploaded two ways. One is by using the file managerin your account. Once logged in, click the 'File Manager' link. Then click 'Upload File(s)' near the bottom of the page. Browse the files on your computer, and select those you want to upload. When your selection is complete, click 'Finish' at the bottom of the page.
Files can also be uploaded using a FTP program.
To FTP, use ftp.XPHost.org as the FTP server address; enter your user/pass and you should be set.
| How do I make my site show up online? |
You will need to rename the main page of your site index.html (or index.htm). Your web browser will automatically attempt to find index.html in each directory. If none exists in your account, you will receive a 404 error.
| How do I create a new directory in my account? |
In the 'File Manager,' click on 'Create a Directory' in the lower left hand corner. Type in the name of the desired directory, and hit 'Finish.' You can create unlimited directories within directories.
Of course if you are using an FTP client you can just go about your normal method of creating directories.
| How can I update my email address? |
From the 'Control Panel,' click on 'Account Setup.' Then choose the 'Email Address' tab.
| How do I change my password? |
From the 'Control Panel,' click on 'Account Setup.' Then choose the 'Password' tab.
| How Much Bandwidth Do I Get? |
All free hosting accounts are given Unlimited Bandwidth.
| Do you support CGI, PHP or MySQL? |
No. We currently don't support CGI, PHP, or MySQL.
| Are There Any File Size Restrictions? |
No. We do not have any file size restrictions.
| How long will my website remain online? |
